Mr. Dal Kham is a community leader, organizer, and advocate dedicated to serving immigrant and refugee communities across Oklahoma. Since 2015, he has been actively involved with Zomi Innkuan Oklahoma, Inc. (Zomi Community of Oklahoma), contributing to the planning and coordination of large-scale cultural events that promote unity, cultural preservation, and community engagement. In 2024, he was appointed as a Board Member, where he leads event coordination and production, supporting a growing population of over 15,000–20,000 Zomi and Burmese individuals and families in the Tulsa area through leadership and coordination of major events such as Zomi National Day and the Khuado Festival.

Mr. Kham came to the United States as a refugee from Burma as a teenager without speaking English. Through perseverance, education, and community support, he built a strong foundation that continues to shape his commitment to public service. He is dedicated to building trust between communities and institutions, promoting safety, accountability, and positive engagement. In addition to his local leadership, he has served as the Media and Production Director for the Zomi Baptist Churches of America since 2020 and works as a media and production specialist for Zomi Community USA, collaborating with community leaders in Tulsa and across the nation.
Mr. Kham came to the United States as a refugee from Burma as a teenager without speaking English. He serves as a community interpreter, assisting individuals and families in accessing essential resources, resolving misunderstandings, and ensuring clear communication in critical situations. He also provides direct support to non-English-speaking refugees and immigrants by preparing individuals for learner’s permit exams and citizenship tests, offering driver training, assisting with job applications and documentation, and guiding them through key systems and services. He holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership from Oklahoma State University, with a minor in Criminal Justice, and was awarded the Oklahoma State University Orange C.O.R.D. (Creating Opportunities for Responsible Development) in recognition of over 400 hours of community volunteer service. Bilingual in Zomi and Burmese, he brings strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to community engagement and public service.

Join me in serving the Zomi and Burmese community through volunteer opportunities, cultural events, and community programs across Oklahoma. Whether you are looking to give back, build connections, or gain experience, there are meaningful ways to get involved and make an impact.
As a Board Member, Event Coordinator, and Media & Production Director, I recruit, organize, and lead teams of volunteers to support 2–5 annual large-scale community events & initiatives, including Zomi National Day, Khuado Festival, and other programs serving over 15,000–20,000 community members.
Current Project
Currently developing the first official website for the Zomi Community of Oklahoma to improve communication, event coordination, resource access, volunteer participation, and public visibility.
